Fabricon Design Upgrades Compressed Air System to Boost CNC Performance and Efficiency
To support the growing demands of our CNC machining facility, Fabricon Design upgraded its ageing compressed air system to a new Atlas Copco GA15 VSD+ compressor. The previous fixed-speed unit could no longer supply sufficient capacity for our advanced 4 and 5-axis CNC machines, auto saws, and temperature controlled dry cutting operations.
After a detailed site assessment and usage study, Atlas Copco recommended the GA15 VSD+ — a compact, high-efficiency compressor with an integrated dryer and smart remote monitoring. The upgrade has transformed our air supply performance while delivering impressive energy savings.
