Fabricon Design attend Greater Manchester Advanced Manufacturing Event
It was a pleasure for Fabricon to be part of the audience, listening to Andy Burnham and Tracy Brabin discuss their shared vision for advanced machinery and the future of manufacturing across Greater Manchester and West Yorkshire. Alongside Pete Thompson, Chief Executive of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), who highlighted funding opportunities available to manufacturers for product development, the event reinforced the importance of continued investment in innovation and skills within the sector.
Hearing from industry and education leaders including Paul Simkiss of AMPI, Julia Heap, CEO of Hopwood Hall College, Mandy Ridyard, Finance Director at Produmax, and Gareth Edwards, AMPI SIPF Programme Director, closely reflects Fabricon’s own commitment to advancing manufacturing capability, supporting product development, and collaborating across industry, academia, and government.
